HOW DO I APPLY?
  1. Log in to The Law Consortium Symplicity.

  2. Select [OCI] from the toolbar at the top of the screen.

  3. Select the [Employers/Bidding] tab.

  4. Choose "2019 Washington DC Off-Campus Recruitment Program" from the [Session ID] drop down menu. The resulting list of employers contains only those that have requested your class year. These are the employers to which you are eligible to apply.

  5. The application materials each employer has requested will be noted in the [Documents] column.

  6. Click the [Apply] or [Review] button from the list of employers. You will then be redirected to a review page.

  7. To apply, click the [Apply] button in the "Bid Details" box to the right of the screen. Pay close attention to this box. If a document type is listed here, it is a REQUIRED document for this specific employer. For example: If "cover letter" is in this box, and "none found" is to the right, you must return to the [Documents] section to upload a cover letter.

Note: Your "default resume" will be included with each application. To submit a different resume (or any other requested documents) from those uploaded in your "Documents" section, select the appropriate document from the drop-down in the "Bid Details" box.

Please make sure that you finalize your selections before the application submission deadline on Friday, July 5 @ 12 PM (noon) ET.

HOW DO I KNOW IF I HAVE BEEN SELECTED FOR AN INTERVIEW?
You will be notified via email when the scheduling period opens on The Law Consortium Symplicity website. Students will be able to view their interview status for each employer to whom they applied in the "Invitations" column. If chosen for an interview, you will have the option of accepting or declining the interview. Employers rank their alternate selections. Alternates will be contacted by email as openings become available according to each employer's order of preference.

Procedures for scheduling interviews for which you have been selected will be shared at the beginning of the selection period.

WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL?
Employers have set aside valuable time to meet with you; therefore, you are encouraged to plan appropriately before accepting interviews. Only accept interviews if you are prepared to travel to DC on the day of the event. If there is an emergency and you need to cancel an interview, contact the law school career services representative responsible for coordinating the program as soon as possible.

Students are responsible for following their school's interviewing policies.
